1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Unitwise AI Cost Tracker ("Unitwise," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the iOS application, this website, and the model-pricing service used by the app.
2. Information you enter in the app
You may enter workflow and run names, dates, model selections, token quantities, AI costs, outcome quantities, optional revenue, customer references, and notes. These records are stored locally on your device. Unitwise does not upload this ledger to our servers.
You decide what to enter. Please avoid placing sensitive personal information, credentials, prompts, or confidential customer data in free-text fields.
3. Information we do not collect
Unitwise does not collect or store your AI prompts, model responses, provider API keys, contacts, photos, precise location, advertising identifier, or payment-card details. The app does not use advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
4. Pricing catalog requests
The app connects to our service to retrieve the current model-pricing catalog and calculate pricing previews. These requests do not include your saved workflow ledger, notes, revenue, prompts, responses, or provider credentials.
Our hosting infrastructure may temporarily process standard technical information—such as IP address, request path, timestamp, and basic network or device request data—to deliver the service, maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose reliability issues. Operational logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for those purposes and are then deleted or rotated.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Pro subscriptions are offered through Apple’s App Store and processed by Apple using StoreKit. Apple controls payment and transaction processing; we do not receive your payment-card information. The app checks verified App Store entitlements on your device to unlock Pro features. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and terms.
6. Sharing and selling
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share your local workflow ledger because it is not transmitted to us. Limited technical request data may be processed by infrastructure providers strictly to host, secure, and operate the service, or disclosed when required by applicable law.
7. Your choices and data deletion
- Delete individual workflows from the Workflows area.
- Delete all saved runs from Settings.
- Delete locally stored app data by removing the app from your device.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Because the workflow ledger stays on your device and no Unitwise account is created, we generally cannot retrieve or delete that local data on your behalf.
8. Security and international processing
We use HTTPS and reasonable operational safeguards for the pricing service. No system can guarantee absolute security. Technical request data may be processed where our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.
9. Children
Unitwise is a business productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. Continued use after an update means the current policy applies.
