SoundClean Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Overview
SoundClean is a speaker cleaner and sound test utility. The app is designed to work locally on your device.
Data collection
SoundClean does not require an account and does not sell personal data. Cleaning history, entitlement cache, frequency settings, and vibration intensity preferences are stored locally on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app.
Crash diagnostics
To find and fix crashes, the app sends crash and error reports to Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), which processes them on our behalf on servers in the European Union. A report contains technical information such as the error details, app version, device model, and operating system version. Reports do not include your name, email address, or advertising identifiers, and are not used for advertising or tracking. Data is encrypted in transit and reports are deleted automatically after the retention period of at most 90 days.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store on iPhone and by Google through Google Play on Android. SoundClean receives only the purchase entitlement status from the store so Pro features can be unlocked. We never receive your payment details.
Permissions
SoundClean does not access your contacts, location, photos, or files. On Android the app does not use the microphone; it uses only the vibration permission for vibration cleaning and the internet permission for purchases and crash diagnostics. On iPhone the app may request microphone access only for optional speaker feedback checks.
Children
SoundClean is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the app. To ask a question about, or request deletion of, crash diagnostics related to your device, contact us at the address below.
